Stephen Mukasa is a Seasoned Leadership Catalyst, Certified Executive Coach and SelfImprovement Advisor. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting option) from Makerere University and a Master of Business Administration from Strathmore University (Kenya), as well as a Pan African EMBA Module Certificate from IESE Business School (Spain). He is the Country Head of the CEO Summit Uganda – a Private Sector Think Tank which brings together all Tier 1 Corporate Leaders in Uganda and he is also a Board Member of the League of East African Directors (LEAD) – of which he is one of the Founding Directors, as well as a Non-Executive Director at FutureLink Technologies, the International Coaching Federation – Uganda and Buildware Centre (U) Limited. Lastly, he is one of the Investment and Business Ambassadors of the Uganda Red Cross Society.
He is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) – Professional Certified Coach (PCC). He started his formal coaching journey (in April 2017) by undertaking the Accredited Coach Training Programme (ACTP) with The Performance Solution (TPS) – United Kingdom. Stephen has over 530 hours of coaching experience at the Executive/ Top-level and he is also a certified trainer/ user of 4 Psychometric Tools: Clarity4D®, iWAM, Extended DISC® and the Personal Development Analysis (PDA). He is involved in coaching Senior Executives in the CEO Apprenticeship Programme (CAP), and the Custom and Open Programmes of Strathmore Business School.
Stephen also trains and consults in the areas of Personal and Team Leadership, Organisational Behaviour, Strategy, Board Governance and Change Management. Stephen was the founding Country Director of Strathmore Business School in Uganda for 10 years till July 2021. In his time at SBS, he oversaw the training and development of over 5000 Corporate Leaders in Uganda.
In his free time, Stephen mentors Professionals, University students and provides Career Guidance, Soft Skills and Professional Ethics sessions in Kampala, Nairobi and Kigali. He was also part of the team that designed and co-authored the Personality Enhancement Programme (PEP) that is used in some of the universities, as well as secondary schools in Uganda and Rwanda.
